![]() It'll take a lot of time and efforts to figure out how these properties, mechanics, gears, and skills synergize with each other (well, to me at least) also I'm not really familiar with the community and relevant content creators. D2 and D3 are simple enough most of the time that I can play casually by doing just that, but PoE is much more complex that fandom wiki only serves as a place that explains those many mechanics but not the gears and skills. In D2 and D3 I get used to look up on the fandom wiki or just see in-game description myself in order to build my characters. Although I said two years, it's not two full years as I will switch between several games. This one isn't really a urgent question, but I've got Rise of the Phoenix, and it looks like that many properties are useful to RF build. And do these skills sysnergize with this build well? Should I have another offensive skill besides RF? I saw other players using Rolling Magma or Fire Traps. So I'm gonna ask directly: is RF not playable by Scion? The passive abilities do have life regeneration and fire damage on the path.Īs for utility skills, I'm thinking about Purity of Fire, Enduring Cry (I noticed that it has life regeneration & it can compensate the fire damage of RF taken by the character to some extent), and Steel Skin. In the meantime, I'm waiting for the Sanctum league to end so that I can have the respec (I know it would take another month or two). I checked Maxroll.gg but it doesn't have any article about RF build at this point. I'm kinda lazy to level up a new character from scratch as I won't play the game every night. ![]() ![]() On the other hand though, I saw that this build is mostly played by Inquisitor Templar or Juggernaut Marauder. Do I just need to take fire resistance and life regeneration as the priority? I looked up that RF build can be tanky and is friendly for new players, but I don't really understand how it extacly works.Įdit: I have this table. Is that correct? In the game I'm struggling with survival sometimes even when I can do mapping with my elementalist. So for the survival side and the first question, I would need life (which is needed by every build I think), all kinds of resistance but especially fire resistance, and life regeneration. In terms of the offense side, I came to know that only elemental damage %, fire damage %, burning, and combustion affect RF, while bland fire damage, spell damage, and crit won't work. I looked it up and have some basic knowledge (I guess) - that it plays around fire damage, fire resistance, and life regeneration. ![]() I want to change to another playstyle and RF is kinda attractive. I've been playing elementalist most of the time. I only play standard league and I intend not to trade despite not playing SSF. So for context, I've been playing the game for about 2 years but not everyday (switching between D2, D3, PoE, and several other games) and didn't really dive into it until recently. ![]()
